"...the Street Where I Live"

I have just moved to the North Woods -- a Winter Wonderland greets me every day. This scene is but one of the walks that lead me to endless trails. I am grateful. Years ago I pioneered a method of using pearlescent pastels throughout a painting. It acts as a wonderful medium for the rest of the stick pastels that follow. I am the Boxtop Artist for Great American Pastels Pearlescent Collection. They truly ARE the 'Best Pastels on the Planet'? I have used that method in this painting. I wish there was a way to capture the glistening image with a photograph. Unfortunately, one must actually see it. It is perfect for this painting. Thank you for doing this competition.
