Blanco and Burrito

I typically work"tight" but in this painting I wanted to work loose and have fun with the sides and edges of the pastels like I used to do in drawing exercises. I enjoyed depicting this realistic subject in a loose technique so the viewer would enjoy the subject in a fresh bold way. I left the negative space solid to set off the vibrancy of the color and strokes.
