This painting is the 5th painting for the "One Circle Many Hearts" project and it depicts a woman who is connecting to her mother's spirit, who recently passed away. Her mother's name translates into "Light Sparkling/Dancing on the Water." She lives in the area that is now the Turtle Mountain Reservation in ND. All the birds pictured are endangered and the eskimo curlew is actually believed to be extinct now. This piece shows that an mother and daughter's relationship is eternal.
