Ozaawaande Memengwaanans (Little Yellow Butterfly)

This is the 4th painting in the "One Circle Many Hearts" project. It depicts a woman from, what is now referred to as, "The Red Lake Resevation" in MN and she has been praying for the medicines she gathered with the help of her clan, the bear. The thunderbirds have made themselves look like bears in the clouds to acknowledge her and her prayers and they have sent their lightning to tje ground to and energy and healing powers to the medicine spirits. All plants shown are native medicinal plants to that area. Unfortunately the image submitted had to be cropped to fit the size requirement for submitting, but the full images are viewable on my FB page, Dazzling Blue Productions.
