This magnificent Monterey Cypress clings to the cliffs at Point Lobos State Park near Carmel-by-the-Sea CA. A winter storm in recent years sent the left side tumbling down the cliff. Painted during the 2019 Carmel Art Festival, this award winner was painted in 3 rapid sessions between downpours during the 48 hours allotted to paint before the Festival!
