This pastel painting is based on a photo I took in a nearby park. I was struck by the quilt like pattern across the open field and our long shadows across the snow covered path. I also loved the contrast of the blue reflections on the snow against the golden yellows of the field. This painting is done on a full sheet of UART Dark paper.
