Flying High

Mountain Biking is a big part of my families life. The speed, agility and power of the cyclist navigating their way through technical course is exhilerating to watch. Capturing the sense of power and speed that a mountain biker experiences in a painting is a creative challange that I enjoy each time I am behind the easel. The pastel stick and its ability to allow me to manipulate the medium with strong bold strokes, smudging and scraping is perfect for me to express on paper what a MTB experiences while riding.
