Towering Flash

This pastel is evolved through my observations of the Midwest weather, particularly the storms of spring and summer. I used Sennelier pastels on the smooth side of black Canson paper, applying the pastels and using my fingers to blend them. The intense Senneliers against the black evoke the emotions I feel when I experience these storms.
