Smokin’ Hot

This piece was created in pastel and inspired by my bee-keeping practices. After sketching the basic design on the board, I used Rembrandt pastels to block in the shapes and use a light wash with Denatured Alcohol. Once dry, is began layering and blending pastels to complete the finished piece.
