This is a soft pastel painting on a liquefied pastel under painting on UART 400 grit paper. It was inspired b the first view of Steens Mountain Oregon on the way up the Big Indian Gorge. This is an area of Oregon that claims to be social distancing since the late 1800’s and we were able to hike there safely this summer.
