Schnoodle

Schnoodle was the first poodle/schnauzer mix I had seen. The reference photo I chose was challenging in that it was just his head on the rug.
There was just something compelling about his face so close to the viewer. You want to smooth the hairs from his nose. His breath is soft and moves in and out with soothing, grunting sounds. This portrait gave me a chance to grow away from the standard head and shoulders pose.
