Soft pastel with a pastel under painting. This painting is of a place I visit near where I live. It's secluded and very calming in these strange times when I want to get on of the house and explore. On this particular day the light seemed to show the way, as it gave me a different path to follow in the execution of the piece. I didn't allow myself to get bogged down in minutia. It was very freeing.
