Along The Road#2

After I was plein air painting in an area along a waterfall I decided to takes a walk along the bank of the creek. The light catching the fall leaves drew my attention to the contrast between the warm and cool colors on this beautiful fall day. I took several photographs and then after several sketches I applied a watercolor underpainting to UArt Premium board and used hard and soft pastels to create the contrast between the warm and cool colors.
