Merlin

This is pastel on Canson Paper. This is from a photo of my cat Merlin. I was looking to do a different pose for a portrait then I usually do for my pets. I did an underpainting with Pan Pastels, then used soft pastels to finish. Used light blues in many of the light areas instead of whites, finished with pastel pencil for the whiskers.
