This was my new home. I wanted to capture the essence of the Vermont country side, extreme hills and valleys with mountains in between. Several trips to this location, painting outdoors and the cold iconic fall season was an effort. Using a paper stylist I drew on the pastel board, underpainted with hard pastels and finished with soft colors . I felt at home..
