The week before this glorious field of dahlias was cut down for the winter I was fortunate to photo Marcy, a florist who was selecting flowers for some upcoming events. She delighted in celebrating the irregularities and colors of each flower. In this piece, I am trying to capture the light and the mood of daydreaming revelry.
