The inspiration for this piece came from photos I took at the Beaverton Fall Fair. I have a particular fondness for these gentle giants as they remind me of my beloved mare Maggie. She was a cross between a Clydesdale and a Thoroughbred, a loveable soul I was blessed to share 21 years of my life With. I really miss her.
