Pastel and alcohol underpainting with various soft pastels. This autumn has been the most colorful and beautiful that I can remember in my lifetime. Perhaps it was a gift in light of all the strife of this year, 2020. I like to think so. This scene was a visual delight, one that made me smile and gave my spirit a much needed boost.
