I am inspired by the forest paintings done by Klimt which focus on colors and patterns while still being representational. This plein air painting was done during the fall on the Red Hawk trail in Glacier Ridge Metro Park in Dublin Ohio. I used the blue earth full set and nupastels on a blue-tinted art spectrum board.
