I am inspired by the forest paintings by Klimt. I am interested in examining patterns and color relationships while still being representational. This plein air painting was done using the Desmond O'hagan unison set and pan pastels for the underpainting on Uart 400. I actually parked my recumbent trike in the woods just off the bike trail to work.
